In this study, we take a look into the beautiful and complex stories of Jesus' feeding of the 5,000 in Mark 6 and His feeding the 4,000 in Mark 8. Why did Mark tell us both stories? Why did Jesus make extra bread? Why does Mark tell us that Jesus made extra bread? Why does Mark tell us how many baskets of extra bread they picked up? And why does Jesus tell them, "you give them something to eat?"

What is the Gospel Pt 3: Follow Me

In this episode, Rob continues his study of "What is the Gospel"? This may be one of the most important topics and yet many Christians struggle to define it and when they do they often define it as "about me." But the Gospel is that Jesus is Lord and He calls us to deny ourselves and follow Him! Today's study looks at the Gospel of Mark and Mark's use of "follow." What does it mean to "follow Me"?

What is the Greatest Commandment? How is that a trick question?

In today's episode, Vinnie and Rob begin a look at the depth and beauty of the Gospel. In Mark 12 and Matt 22 three groups (of somewhat unlikely collaborators) question Jesus trying to "trap" Him. One of the questions, however, doesn't look like a trap: the answer to "what is the greatest commandment" is something that a 3-yr old child would have known. How was this a trick question? the answer must be found in the fact that Jesus was doing something funny and they suspected it but wanted to see if He would affirm it plainly! 

Then Vinnie and Rob ask what does it mean today to "love our neighbor" as ourselves.
